Local grown includes local farm, farmer markets is locally grown close to our community. Seasonal foods are local foods harvested in season and defined by region conditions vary with latitude, climate, topography and other related factors. I live in Texas and most of our vegetables and fruits in the markets are coming from California. M.11 Zero Waste Life Watching all of these videos, reading articles, and doing further research about the wastes that we are producing and the harmful effects that we are adding to ourselves and our environment is really embarrassing . As we know that we have different resources of waste that we are producing and can be eliminating in order to live in a better and healthier environment. The zero waste life is big concept, needs to take an action and change behavior. I decided to change my behavior and produce less waste and I started with stop using of plastic bags, purchasing unpacked food, drinking tab water, composing, and monitoring my trash. I am still reviewing my life style and I’ll take more steps and actions toward zero waste life. Our lives and environment is calling us to take an action and save it.
I have three in my county. It is nice to see how each county differs.
